Job summary

JINGDONG Logistics in Saudi Arabia seeks a Customs Clearance Coordinator to manage documentation, declarations, and regulatory compliance across Fasah, Bayan, and SABER. You will liaise with brokers, ensure HS codes and valuations are correct, and support import permits with SFDA, CITC, and GACA.

The role requires 2–3 years of Saudi experience in freight/logistics, fluency in Arabic, and good English. You will work in a fast-paced team focused on accuracy, risk management, and timely shipment

Qualifications

• High school certificate or above; a diploma or degree in Logistics, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• 2-3 years of relevant customs clearance coordination experience in Saudi Arabia, preferably in freight forwarding, express courier, 3PL, or logistics operations.
• Familiarity with Saudi import/export customs clearance procedures, ZATCA and SASO requirements, HS classification, customs valuation, and country-of-origin rules.
• Hands-on experience with customs platforms such as Fasah and Bayan; familiarity with SABER product and shipment conformity certification processes is preferred.
• Fluent Arabic with strong speaking, reading, and writing skills; good working proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Review and organize commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and other compliance documents; coordinate with licensed customs brokers to complete customs declarations.
• Use Saudi customs platforms (Fasah, Bayan, SABER) to track declarations, approvals, duty/tax calculations, and shipment release status.
• Verify HS codes, customs valuation, country of origin, and required certifications to ensure compliance with ZATCA, SASO, and other regulations.
• Follow up on customs inspections, shipment holds, declaration discrepancies, and missing documents; coordinate with customers, suppliers, brokers, and internal teams to resolve issues and minimize delays.
• Coordinate import permits and regulatory approvals with SFDA, CITC, and GACA according to shipment requirements.
• Maintain accurate customs records and reconcile charges, duties, taxes, and invoices for data traceability.
• Identify clearance risks and process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
• Must meet Saudi localisation (Nitaqat/Saudisation) requirements; Saudi nationals preferred.
