Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. in Riyadh is seeking an Electrical/Instrumentation engineer to support SAS/DCS testing and commissioning on customer sites. You will work under supervision, apply IEC standards, and coordinate with global teams to ensure quality, safety, and timely delivery.

The role requires English fluency, problem-solving skills, and the ability to debug system issues in a multinational environment. Experience with protection and control systems and IEDs is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Power, or/and Instrumentation & Control Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in DCS/SAS systems.
• Ability to debug systems problems, narrow down root cause of issues.
• Good knowledge of IEC61850 protocol, Modbus, IEC101, IEC104 and IEC103.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Test and validate equipment, facility or plant per design objectives or specifications for operational use.
• Develop conceptual knowledge of the professional discipline and support roles with specialized expertise.
• Resolve issues using established procedures; consult supervisor for exceptions outside defined instructions.
• Collaborate with others to solve issues and build strong customer relationships.
• Responsible for SAS commissioning activities on customer sites and related management tasks.
