Job summary

Schneider Electric seeks an experienced Commissioning Engineer to lead on-site testing and documentation for equipment installations in Riyadh. You will manage commissioning plans, coordinate with the Site Works Manager/Coordinator and Project Manager, and ensure instrument calibration and safety standards are met throughout the project.

The role requires 5–8 years of commissioning experience on MV/LV equipment, strong English, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Omicron software, and protection-relay

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (minimum).
• Fluent English (C1 level).
• Additional languages are considered an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, AutoCAD, Outlook, Omicron testing software and protection relay setting software.
• Advanced knowledge of MV and LV equipment, power systems, and commissioning principles.
• 5–8 years of commissioning experience on LV and MV equipment; on-site or design office exposure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform on-site equipment commissioning tests.
• Record measurements and ensure proper documentation with sign-off by the client.
• Verify instruments are calibrated and maintained; notify when certificates expire.
• Report non-conformances and coordinate with Project Manager and Client.
• Update As-Built drawings and commissioning documentation as required.
• Provide weekly progress reports and risk mitigation plans.
