Job summary

AESG is seeking a commissioning specialist to support multi-discipline projects in Riyadh, ensuring tested results meet project specs and industry codes. You will conduct site inspections, review design info, and assist in delivering high-standards commissioning services for AESG clients.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of relevant experience and education in MEP/building services engineering, with professional certifications and a strong focus on quality and documentation.

Qualifications

• Education: MEP / Building services Engineering Degree.
• BSc Electrical Engineering; BSc Building Services Engineering.
• MEP / Building services Engineering College Diploma: HNC, HND or equivalent.
• MEP / Building services Engineering College Certificate: ONC, OND or equivalent.
• MEP Trade time served + City & Guilds certificate.

Responsibilities

• Independently conduct site inspections in selected discipline.
• Review design information, tolerances and agreed methods of working.
• Assess whether test procedures and recorded results demonstrate compliance with project specifications and industry codes of practice.
• Assist with reviewing project documentation for compliance with project specifications and industry codes of practice.
• Report issues found to senior team members in a clear, accurate and concise manner.
• liaise with contractors commissioning team in a professional manner.
• Carry out side observations with respect to quality of installation.
• Produce documentation to a high standard, including site observation reports.
• Participate in meetings and workshops regarding discipline when required.
• Monitor installation, submittals and use of engineering tools adhering to project and commissioning guidelines.
• Track completion of tasks, prepare lookaheads and trackers for project milestones.
• Keep a diary of events and activities under your control, including systems inspected, documents reviewed, and any decision made by authorities on site.
