Job summary

  • Proficiency in fire risk assessments, HAZOP/HAZID, and escape route planning.

Responsibilities

  • Implements and enforces HSE policies, procedures, and project safety plans.
  • Monitors compliance with client, regulatory, and company HSE requirements.
  • Conducts site safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
  • Leads Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and risk assessments.
  • Monitors Permit-to-Work (PTW) activities and ensures safe work execution.
  • Oversees safety during brownfield and live plant projects.
  • Supports turnaround, shutdown, and maintenance activities from an HSE perspective.
  • Ensures safe execution of high-risk activities (Hot Work, Confined Space Entry, Work at Height, Lifting & Rigging, Excavation).
  • Maintains HSE records, reports, and performance statistics.
  • Promotes proactive safety culture and conducts toolbox talks.
  • Coordinates with project management, operations, contractors, and client representatives.
  • Ensures compliance with Saudi international HSE standards.

Requirements/Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.

  • Proven experience working on KSA projects.

  • Strong experience in Brownfield Projects within operating facilities.

  • Extensive experience in Turnaround (TA), Shutdown Projects.

  • Familiarity with Saudi international standards.

  • Proficiency in fire risk assessments, HAZOP/HAZID, and escape route planning.

  • Excavation Activities

  • Energized Equipment Isolation (LOTO)

  • Conduct daily toolbox talks, safety meetings, and workforce awareness programs.

  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe acts/conditions.

  • Prepare incident reports and recommend corrective/preventive actions.

  • Monitor implementation of emergency response procedures and drills.

  • Maintain HSE records, reports, and performance statistics.

  • Promote a proactive safety culture and behavioral safety programs.

  • Coordinate with project management, operations, contractors, and client representatives.

  • Ensure compliance with Saudi international HSE standards.
