Responsibilities

  • Provide mentoring/people development for direct reports, including training and performance feedback
  • Leverage resources to administer policies across all business lines and locations
  • Analyze situations, forecast problems, and evaluate options with recommended actions
  • Organize and prioritize complex projects and multiple tasks to meet deadlines
  • Maintain compliance with applicable policies and global standards
  • Adhere to Company Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies
  • Translate global initiatives into project procedures
  • Develop cost-effective total project solutions for discipline engineering work
  • Develop and review project Scope of Services and facilities
  • Prepare estimates, schedules, and manpower forecasts
  • Develop and update specifications and design criteria
  • Draft and update job execution plans
  • Engage with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure service excellence
  • Participate in procurement, permitting, and subcontracting activities
  • Assign work to teams and monitor progress
  • Perform calculations and specify equipment for complex engineering problems

Client is looking for HSE Director

Project Type : Oil & gas, petrochemical, power plant, refinery- EPC and EPCM

Location: Khobar, Saudi Arabia

Requirements/Qualification:
  • Accredited degree or global equivalent in Business, Construction Management, Law or equivalent experience required

  • 20+ Years of experience

  • Advanced computer and software skills to include the use of word processing and email as well as the advanced use of spreadsheets, electronic presentations and databases

  • Expertly demonstrate organizational and leadership skills

  • A valid driver’s license, if required

Responsibilities:
  • Provide mentoring/people development for direct reports Typically manage personnel and provide an environment for the development and professional advancement of staff members, including on-the-job and formal training and development opportunities, and timely performance feedback

  • Leverage internal and external resources to administer policies and procedures consistently across all business lines, functions, and locations

  • Analyze situations, identify and forecast pertinent problems, and evaluate realistic options; and recommend/implement appropriate course of action

  • Organize and prioritize a variety of complex projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet critical time deadlines

  • Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards

  • Adhere to and support Company Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies

  • Translate global strategic initiatives into procedures to be implemented on projects

  • Act as a leader in applying Cost Competitive Execution techniques and develop the most cost- effective total project solution for the discipline engineering work

  • Develop and review project Scope of Services, Scope of Facilities, and other project baseline documents for all phases of projects

  • Develop and review estimates and schedules, progress reports, including manpower forecasts

  • Develop and review specifications, including design criteria

  • Develop and update job execution plans

  • Develop and build external relations with client representatives, vendors, and subcontractors and interface closely with other discipline functions promoting Client Service Excellence

  • Participate in activities associated with equipment and material procurement, permitting, and subcontracting

  • Assign work to teams, monitor and manage the work

  • Perform and check calculations, specify equipment, and solve problems of difficult engineering complexity
