Job summary

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) in Al-Jubail, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Rotating Technician II to support maintenance operations in Oil & Gas facilities.

The role requires leading maintenance activities, coordinating with multiple teams, ensuring safety standards, and maintaining SAP records. Candidates should have extensive oil & gas maintenance experience and recognized competency certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of Oil & Gas maintenance experience with a High School education.
• Minimum 4 years of Oil & Gas maintenance experience with a Diploma.
• Hold a valid third-party certification attesting to maintenance competency.

Responsibilities

• Allocate maintenance activities to Technicians and assemble the team.
• Supervise all ongoing jobs and update Foreman on progress.
• Organize manpower resources, equipment and materials availability.
• Arrange necessary work permits before starting work.
• Provide technical advice to Technicians on tools and equipment.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance Planning and Technical departments to execute and complete the job.
• Ensure SAP data input, history and actual hours are maintained.
• Attend daily and weekly maintenance progress meetings.
• Maintain compliance with SATORP standards and guidelines.
• Conduct toolbox talks before commencing work.
• Ensure compliance with safe work practices and PPE usage.
• Encourage reporting of near-misses and unsafe conditions and acts.

Responsibilities:

• Allocate maintenance activities to various Technicians and assemble the team.
• Supervise all ongoing jobs and update the progress to Foreman.
• Organize manpower resources, equipment’s and materials availability.
• Arrange necessary work permits before starting of work.
• Provide technical advice to Technicians to use proper tools and equipment’s.
• Co-ordinate with Operations, Maintenance Planning and Technical departments to execute and complete the job.
• Ensure that SAP data input, history and actual hours are maintained.
• Attend daily and weekly maintenance progress meetings.
• Maintain strict compliance with SATORP standards and guidelines.
• Conduct Toolbox talk before commencing work.
• Ensure the compliance of safe work practices, hazardous work regulations and PPE usage according to SATORP standards.
• Encourage reporting of Near miss, unsafe conditions and acts.
• Participates in Safety audits.
• Attend the Safety and Technical training as scheduled.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance – High School.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance – Diploma.
• Hold a valid certification issued by a recognized third-party certification body or an accredited Saudi institute, attesting to the individual’s qualifications and competency to perform the works.
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance management of Oil & Gas Facilities
• Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills Proven leadership skills with large organizations
