Job summary

KBR in Al-Jubail, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Rotating Technician II to support maintenance activities in oil & gas facilities. The role involves leading teams, coordinating resources, and ensuring safe operations on site.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in oil & gas maintenance (with diploma or high school), holds recognized certifications, and demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills under pressure in a multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance – High School.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance – Diploma.
• Hold a valid certification issued by a recognized third-party certification body or an accredited Saudi institute, attesting to the individual’s qualifications and competency to perform the works.
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance management of Oil & Gas Facilities
• Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills
• Proven leadership skills with large organizations
• Maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems. An ability to achieve business results working in a multi-cultural environment

Responsibilities

• Allocate maintenance activities and assemble the team.
• Supervise ongoing jobs and report progress to Foreman.
• Organize manpower, equipment and materials availability.
• Arrange work permits before starting work.
• Advise technicians on proper tools and equipment.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance Planning and Technical teams.
• Maintain SAP data input, history and hours.
• Attend daily and weekly maintenance progress meetings.
• Ensure compliance with SATORP standards and PPE.
• Lead toolbox talks before work.
• Enforce safe work practices and regulations.
• Encourage near-miss reporting and safety observations.
• Participate in safety audits.
• Attend safety and technical training as scheduled.
