Job summary

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Rotating Technician II to lead maintenance teams on oil and gas assets. You will allocate tasks, supervise execution, organize resources, and ensure SAP records and safety standards are observed across shifts.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and formal certifications, with a focus on safe practices and regulatory compliance within a multi-cultural project environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years' Oil & Gas maintenance experience.
• Minimum 4 years' Oil & Gas maintenance experience with Diploma.
• Hold a valid third-party certification attesting to qualifications and competency.
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance management of Oil & Gas facilities.
• Excellent communication skills and leadership in large organizations.

Responsibilities

• Allocate maintenance activities and assemble the team.
• Supervise ongoing jobs and update the Foreman.
• Organize manpower, equipment and materials availability.
• Arrange necessary work permits before starting work.
• Provide technical advice to Technicians on tools and equipment.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance Planning and Technical departments to execute jobs.
• Ensure SAP data input, history and actual hours are maintained.
• Attend daily and weekly maintenance progress meetings.
• Maintain compliance with SATORP standards and guidelines.
• Conduct toolbox talks prior to commencement of work.
• Ensure safe work practices, PPE usage and hazardous regulations compliance.
• Encourage reporting of near misses and unsafe conditions.
• Participate in Safety audits and attend Safety/Technical training as scheduled.

Responsibilities:

• Allocate maintenance activities to various Technicians and assemble the team.
• Supervise all ongoing jobs and update the progress to Foreman.
• Organize manpower resources, equipment's and materials availability.
• Arrange necessary work permits before starting of work.
• Provide technical advice to Technicians to use proper tools and equipment's.
• Co-ordinate with Operations, Maintenance Planning and Technical departments to execute and complete the job.
• Ensure that SAP data input, history and actual hours are maintained.
• Attend daily and weekly maintenance progress meetings.
• Maintain strict compliance with SATORP standards and guidelines.
• Conduct Toolbox talk before commencing work.
• Ensure the compliance of safe work practices, hazardous work regulations and PPE usage according to SATORP standards.
• Encourage reporting of Near miss, unsafe conditions and acts.
• Participates in Safety audits.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 years' experience in Oil & Gas maintenance - High School.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in Oil & Gas maintenance - Diploma.
• Hold a valid certification issued by a recognized third-party certification body or an accredited Saudi institute, attesting to the individual's qualifications and competency to perform the works.
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance management of Oil & Gas Facilities
• Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills- Proven leadership skills with large organizations
• Maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems. An ability to achieve business results working in a multi-cultural environment
