Job summary

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Rotating Technician II to oversee maintenance activities for oil and gas facilities. You will allocate tasks, supervise teams, organize resources, and ensure safe work practices.

The role requires a solid maintenance background in oil & gas, a high school diploma or higher, and relevant certifications. You will participate in safety audits, toolbox talks, and technical training while aligning with SATORP standards.

Responsibilities

• Allocate maintenance activities to technicians and assemble the team.
• Supervise ongoing jobs and report progress to Foreman.
• Organize manpower, equipment and material availability.
• Arrange required work permits prior to starting work.
• Provide technical guidance to technicians on tools and equipment.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance Planning and Technical departments.
• Ensure SAP data input, history and actual hours are accurate.
• Attend daily and weekly maintenance progress meetings.
• Maintain compliance with SATORP standards and guidelines.
• Conduct toolbox talks before commencing work.
• Ensure safe work practices and PPE usage per standards.
• Encourage near-miss reporting and safety observations.
• Participate in safety audits and scheduled safety training.

KBR is looking for Rotating Technician II

Responsibilities:

• Allocate maintenance activities to various Technicians and assemble the team.

• Supervise all ongoing jobs and update the progress to Foreman.

• Organize manpower resources, equipment’s and materials availability.

• Arrange necessary work permits before starting of work.

• Provide technical advice to Technicians to use proper tools and equipment’s.

• Co-ordinate with Operations, Maintenance Planning and Technical departments to execute and complete the job.

• Ensure that SAP data input, history and actual hours are maintained.

• Attend daily and weekly maintenance progress meetings.

• Maintain strict compliance with SATORP standards and guidelines.

• Conduct Toolbox talk before commencing work.

• Ensure the compliance of safe work practices, hazardous work regulations and PPE usage according to SATORP standards.

• Encourage reporting of Near miss, unsafe conditions and acts.

• Participates in Safety audits.

• Attend the Safety and Technical training as scheduled.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance – High School.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance – Diploma.
• Hold a valid certification issued by a recognized third-party certification body or an accredited Saudi institute, attesting to the individual’s qualifications and competency to perform the works.
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance management of Oil & Gas Facilities
• Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills Proven leadership skills with large organizations
• Maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems. An ability to achieve business results working in a multi-cultural environment
