Job summary

Zahid Group of Companies seeks a Security Officer to safeguard facilities, vehicles, and assets across residential compounds and premises. You will monitor CCTV, CCTV Infrared systems, access controls and alarm systems, and maintain records of visitors and gate passes.

Regular checks ensure safety gear and exits function correctly. The role requires 2+ years in a similar job and a minimum secondary certificate, with basic PC skills and knowledge of MS Word/Excel.

Qualifications

• Secondary School Certificate at minimum.
• Knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel (Level 1).
• 2+ years in a similar security role with electronic systems.
• Experience with CCTV and access control systems.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard company properties, equipment and assets.
• Organize vehicle parking within premises.
• Monitor for suspicious activities and report to supervisor.
• Regular checks on security equipment and exits.
• Control entry of unauthorized persons and issue gate passes.
• Assist outsiders and guide to departments within premises.
• Maintain visitor records when required.
• Ensure CCTV, alarms and access systems function properly.
• Operate safety and security systems and respond to emergencies.
