Job summary

Zahid Group of Companies seeks a Security Officer to safeguard facilities, vehicles, and assets across residential compounds and premises. You will monitor CCTV, CCTV Infrared systems, access controls and alarm systems, and maintain records of visitors and gate passes.

Regular checks ensure safety gear and exits function correctly. The role requires 2+ years in a similar job and a minimum secondary certificate, with basic PC skills and knowledge of MS Word/Excel.

Qualifications

• Secondary School Certificate at minimum.
• Knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel (Level 1).
• 2+ years in a similar security role with electronic systems.
• Experience with CCTV and access control systems.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard company properties, equipment and assets.
• Organize vehicle parking within premises.

Proper security of the assigned Company facilities, Individuals, Lands, Compounds, and Assets for Zahid Group of Companies

Adhere to the policies and procedures including reporting and proper measures

Key Accountabilities

Safeguarding the Company properties, equipment, machines, and security inventory.Organize parking of vehicles within the Company premises.Keep a close watch on any suspicious activities or damages and immediately report them to the Supervisor.Apply regular checks (minimum twice in a shift) on all accessories of Company properties, locations, and sites including (fire safety equipment, first aid kits, and emergency exits) in his allocated areas.Control the entry of unauthorized persons to Residential compounds.Ensure no item/equipment is allowed to be out of the Company premises without proper Gate Pass (including serial number, model, and photo of the equipment).Allow access to company facilities for outsiders after ascertaining the purpose of visit and guide visitors to proper Locations/Departments within the Company premises.Pre-alert the office staff being visited, should the need arise.Maintain a record of visitors and their time-keeping, when required.Ensure the security systems (alarm systems, fire equipment, and CCTV) and access control systems (card punching machines and electronic access) are functioning properly.Operate safety and security systems.Taking actions commensurate with a sense of responsibility in fulfilling his duties.Readiness to act promptly in emergencies.Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Knowledge, Skills and Aptitude

• Educational Qualifications and Certifications: Secondary School Certificate holder at minimum
• Knowledge: Computer Skills (Intro to PC and Windows, MS Word and MS Excel “Level 1”)
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of Hi-Tech handling of surveillance equipment, CCTV & Infra-red systems, electronic devices, Door systems
• Experience: Minimum 2years in a similar job with knowledge of handling electronic security systems
