Job summary

Euro Staffs is seeking a Reception Supervisor for the الرياض on-site role to oversee daily front office operations and deliver exceptional guest service. The position requires coordinating the reception team, managing check-in/check-out, and supporting upselling opportunities while ensuring compliance with hotel standards.

You will supervise staff across shifts, monitor room status and PMS entries, and liaise with Housekeeping, Reservations, Finance and Security to maintain smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the Reception team.
• Ensure professional and efficient check-in and check-out procedures.
• Welcome VIPs, corporate guests, and special-request guests and ensure their requirements are properly handled.
• Monitor room status, availability, arrivals, departures, extensions, and room moves.
• Ensure accurate handling of reservations, payments, deposits, billing, and cashier procedures.
• Follow up on guest requests, complaints, and service recovery to ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain accurate guest profiles and records in the PMS/Opera system.
• Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Reservations, Sales, Finance, and Security.
• Conduct shift briefings and ensure proper handover between shifts.
• Monitor staff attendance, grooming, punctuality, and compliance with hotel standards.
• Coach and train Reception Agents on hotel procedures, customer service, upselling, and PMS operations.
• Ensure proper handling of keys, cash, documents, and other Front Office assets.
• Monitor room readiness and coordinate with Housekeeping to minimize guest waiting time.
• Support upselling of rooms, upgrades, breakfast, and hotel services.
• Prepare and review daily Front Office reports and highlight operational issues to the Front Office Manager.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and elevate serious issues when required.
• Ensure compliance with Le Diyar Hotels policies, SOPs, Saudi regulations, and hotel safety standards.
• Support the Front Office Manager during high-occupancy periods, VIP arrivals, inspections, and special events.
• Act as the Manager on Duty / Front Office representative when assigned.
