Job summary

Power International Holding (PIH) seeks a Lead Quantity Surveyor in Commercial Management to oversee cost estimation, budgeting, and financial control for Saudi construction projects. You will forecast costs, monitor variances, and report financial performance to stakeholders.

The role requires coordination with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure compliance with contracts and financial objectives. GCC experience is a plus, and SAP knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial control for construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, administration, and negotiation in construction.
• Excellent analytical abilities to assess financial risks and generate accurate reports.
• Familiarity with construction management software and tools for cost estimation and tracking.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and comprehensiveness.
• Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenditures and ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
• Draft, review, and manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with legal and project requirements.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with projects through analysis and planning.
• Oversee the procurement process, including selection of contractors and suppliers, and negotiate favorable terms.
• Implement effective cost control measures and monitor project expenses to prevent overruns.
• Generate regular financial reports for stakeholders, highlighting budget status, variances, and forecasts.
• Assess and manage the financial impact of project changes and variations with proper approvals.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to align on financial and contractual matters.
• Ensure financial practices adhere to industry standards, policies, and IMS regulations.
• Support HSE initiatives and participate in safety activities in alignment with company policies.
