Job summary

SGS is seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector (QCI) - E&I for offshore projects in Saudi Arabia. The role involves organizing and executing on-site inspections of materials, equipment and installation activities, issuing Quality Records and non-conformance reports as needed, and ensuring compliance with the Inspection Test Plan and Quality Control Plan.

ARAMCO approval in Electrical & Instrumentation is mandatory, with offshore experience required.

Qualifications

• Quality control inspection experience in oil and gas projects.
• Offshore experience and knowledge of ITP/Quality Records.
• Familiarity with engineering standards and offshore codes.

Responsibilities

Issue the relevant Quality Records and, when necessary, write and send to QC Supervisor non-conformances reports. Check conformity with the Quality Control Plan, obtain the relevant documentation, check procedures and equipment to be used in tests, controls, and inspections, manage documents certifying tests, controls and inspections. Ensure the correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan. Verify special processes and the relevant workers' qualifications. Check power transformers, switchboard, accumulator battery, sockets outlet, lighting system, Remote terminal unit, instruments, cables, tunings etc. Perform visual inspections, dimensional test, check rating and material for connection. Diploma/Degree in Engineering or equivalent. 8+ years of relevant experience in Oil and Gas construction sector Mandatory Offshore Experience.
