Job summary

Duruper is seeking an experienced QC E&I Inspector to ensure Electrical & Instrumentation installation, inspection, testing, and documentation comply with Saudi Aramco standards, approved procedures, project specifications, and codes. The role requires 6–10 years in E&I inspection, Saudi Aramco approval, CBT, and relevant technical qualifications.

This is an on-site position in Eastern Province, Al Jubayl, with coordination across construction, commissioning, and client teams.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years in E&I inspection for oil & gas projects.
• Saudi Aramco Approved – E&I Inspector.
• Valid CBT in E&I field.
• Qualified in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, E&I or related field.
• Strong knowledge of installation, inspection, testing, and codes.
• Must meet Saudi Aramco approval criteria.

Responsibilities

• Inspect electrical and instrumentation installations per drawings, specs, ITPs, and project requirements.
• Inspect equipment, cables, trays, conduits, earthing, termination, and related installs.
• Inspect instrumentation installation, tubing, wiring, field instruments, valves, and components.
• Verify routing, termination, tagging, insulation resistance, and testing.
• Witness calibration, loop checks, and electrical testing activities.
• Review drawings, datasheets, specs, and inspection procedures.
• Coordinate with construction, commissioning, engineering and client/Aramco teams.
• Identify non-conformities and ensure corrective actions are documented.
• Maintain inspection reports, checklists, test records, punch lists, and QC docs.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Inspect electrical and instrumentation installation activities as per approved drawings, specifications, ITPs, and project requirements.
• Inspect electrical equipment, cables, cable trays, conduits, earthing, termination, and related installations.
• Inspect instrumentation installation, tubing, wiring, field instruments, control valves, and associated components.
• Verify cable routing, glanding, termination, tagging, continuity, insulation resistance, and functional testing.
• Witness instrumentation calibration, loop checking, and electrical testing activities.
• Review electrical and instrumentation drawings, datasheets, specifications, and inspection procedures.
• Coordinate with construction, commissioning, engineering, and client/Aramco inspection teams.
• Identify non-conformities and ensure corrective actions are implemented and properly documented.
• Maintain inspection reports, checklists, test records, punch lists, and QC documentation.

Mandatory Requirements

• 6–10 years of relevant experience in E&I inspection, preferably in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical projects.
• Saudi Aramco Approved – E&I Inspector.
• Valid CBT in the relevant E&I field.
• Relevant technical qualification/certification in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, E&I, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation installation, inspection, testing, and applicable codes/standards.
• Candidates must meet all required Saudi Aramco approval and certification criteria.
