Job summary

Kent Group FZCO seeks an experienced QC Electrical and Instrument Inspector for our Eastern Saudi Arabia-based project. You will support project goals by performing inspections, managing QA documentation, and coordinating with client representatives to ensure timely quality checks.

The role requires proficiency in English, strong interpersonal skills, and familiarity with industry standards. You will work closely with construction teams and assist in developing inspection test plans and quality

Qualifications

• Trade qualification or diploma required; degree preferred.
• Aramco approval and CBT pass.
• Third-party training in E&I.
• Familiar with applicable industry standards and specs.
• Computer literate with proprietary admin software.

Responsibilities

• Be proactive in identifying areas of improvement and create suitable action plans to improve project performance.
• Produce weekly monthly reports to the project Quality leadership as applicable.
• Work cross functionally to design develop and track project quality objectives.
• Attend necessary inspections and testing as identified in the approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
• Perform a variety of inspection functions.
• Quality documentation management.
• Record and document all deviations from the Project Quality Program and the Kent Management System.
• Update the Punchlist management system with all deviations from the Project Quality Program and the Kent Management System.
• Coordinate with client representatives to ensure inspections are carried out expediently.
• Generate client Requests for Inspection (RFI) with notice for Hold Witness and Inspection points.
• Carry out inspections on Exception Items (EI) and sign off when approved.
• Carry out surveillance inspections and document deviations from the QA programs.
• Review calibration status of test equipment prior to use.
• Provide support to construction personnel regarding QA programs.
• Maintain good relationships with Kent and Client personnel.
• Maintain records of inspections and surveillance reports.
• Assist with ITPs and related Quality Records for project scope.
• Analyze reports and recommend quality improvements.
• Promote a positive quality culture.

• Continually carry out surveillance inspections on the project recording and documenting all deviations from the Project Quality Program and the Kent Management System
• Review the calibration status of any test equipment being utilized on the project to ensure the equipment is within calibration prior to use
• Provide support to the construction personnel in relation to the Project Quality Program and the Kent Management System
• Maintain a good working relationship with all Kent and Client personnel
• Maintain good record keeping of activities carried out and inspection reports surveillance reports etc
• Where required assist with the development of project Inspection Test Plans ITP s and associated Quality Records QRs and Test Records TRs for the project scope of works in accordance with the contract requirements applicable legislative local government and other regulatory requirements
• Analyze report give recommendations on how to improve quality performance
• Promote a positive quality culture throughout the organization
• Understand and communicate the quality policy and the organizational context
• Embrace embody and promote quality management principles
• Assist in employee selection career development succession planning and periodic training
• Assist in the recruitment and on-boarding activities of new Quality staff where necessary
• Promote continued professional development of the Quality personnel ensuring that improvement plans are developed and where necessary training mentoring is available for quality personnel

Qualification

• QC Inspector shall be a Trade Qualified / Diploma or equivalent – Degree holder preferred.
• Aramco approval + CBT pass
• Third party training in E&I
• Shall be fully conversant with applicable Industry Standards and Specifications
• Computer literate, familiar with proprietary administration software
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good communicator
• Maintain a good standard of written and spoken English
• The Inspector shall comply with the discipline specific criteria noted below
• The Inspector shall meet as a minimum the following years of relevant experience
