Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or a related field.
• 5-7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance/Control in catering, pastry, bakery, food service or hospitality.
• Experience with HACCP and food safety systems.
• Knowledge of local food safety regulations.
• Strong documentation, reporting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Strong leadership, communication and staff training skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA/QC programs ensuring HACCP compliance and food safety standards.
• Conduct audits, inspections and supplier quality evaluations.
• Develop and implement SOPs and quality systems.
• Coach and train QA staff and cross-functional teams.
• Address issues promptly with data-driven root-cause analysis.
• Maintain thorough documentation and report to management.
