Opus is seeking a Quality Assurance professional in Riyadh to oversee food safety systems and ensure compliance with global and local standards. You will collect samples, run tests, and monitor production environments to uphold strict hygiene and quality.

The role involves supplier audits, handling non-conformities, and preparing reports for management, with frequent inspections by authorities such as the Food and Drug Authority and ISO bodies.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology, Agricultural Engineering (Food Industries), or Microbiology/Chemistry.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in food factories' Quality department.
• HACCP or ISO 22000 certification is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of FDA standards and Gulf/local food specs.
• Ability to operate food laboratory equipment and analyze results.
• Allergen management and pest control knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Apply food safety systems such as HACCP, ISO 22000, and GMP; oversee implementation and enforcement.
• Collect routine samples and conduct physical, chemical, microbiological tests on materials, production, and finished product.
• Monitor temperatures, humidity, and cleanliness of production lines; enforce hygiene procedures.
• Inspect and audit supplier shipments to ensure they meet quality certificates and specs.
• Quarantine non-conforming products, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Record inspection readings and laboratory results; prepare daily and monthly quality reports.
• Prepare documents for inspections by government authorities (e.g., FDA) or ISO certification bodies.
