Job summary

Almarai - المراعي is seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance/Food Safety candidate in Saudi Arabia to ensure the delivery of safe and compliant products. The role focuses on maintaining site quality systems, investigating complaints/non-conformances, and driving improvements in hygiene, GMP and cold-chain operations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5+ years in QA/food safety, and strong Arabic & English communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in food science, chemistry, microbiology, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Food Safety in FMCG.
Proven experience leading investigations related to customer complaints, food safety incidents, and quality deviations.
Experience in root cause analysis and preventive actions.
Experience conducting internal audits/inspections and supporting external/customer audits.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic & English.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc).

Responsibilities

Maintain site quality systems to ensure safe, compliant, and customer-approved products.
Investigate and close complaints/non-conformances.
Drive continuous improvement across hygiene, GMP, and cold-chain operations.
