Responsibilities
- Ensure effective receiving, first-off, in-process, dimensional, visual, thread, NDE, hardness, pressure test, final inspection, marking, preservation and release controls.
- Maintain complete material and product traceability, including MTCs, QTCs, heat treatment, mechanical properties, hardness, NDE, dimensions, pressure tests, serialization and manufacturing records.
- Control measuring, inspection and test equipment, including identification, suitability, range, calibration status, handling and impact assessment where equipment is found out of calibration.
- Ensure only competent and authorized personnel perform inspection, NDE, thread gauging and product release activities.
- Lead containment of nonconforming or suspect product through identification, segregation, quarantine, affected‑quantity assessment, NCR initiation, disposition follow‑up, reinspection and closure.
- Lead evidence‑based RCA and corrective action using appropriate methods such as 5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA, Fault Tree Analysis.
- Prevent release until all required inspection, testing, traceability, documentation, NCR, concession, customer hold‑point and acceptance requirements are complete.
- Support API, Saudi Aramco, customer, licensor and third‑party audits/inspections; develop QC personnel through competency assessment, training, coaching and reassessment.
