Job summary

Abis Co is seeking a QA/QC Supervisor to oversee day-to-day quality control activities across all site disciplines on EPC/industrial construction projects in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province. The role involves supervising QC Inspectors, coordinating inspections per ITPs, and ensuring consistent application of quality standards and procedures.

You will review daily QC reports, support NCR processes, conduct inspections, and liaise with construction supervision to resolve quality issues.

Qualifications

  • 8–10 years of experience in quality control on EPC/industrial construction projects, including supervisory experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical) or a related field, QC/inspection certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001) and ITP coordination is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of QC Inspectors across disciplines.
  • Ensure inspections, tests, and hold points follow approved ITPs.
  • Review QC reports and ensure timely, accurate documentation.
  • Coordinate hold point notifications and inspection scheduling with clients/third-party inspectors.
  • Support NCR process and corrective actions with the QC Manager.
  • Conduct quality walkdowns and spot-check inspections on active fronts.
  • Verify calibration and control of inspection/test equipment used by QC team.
  • Provide training and guidance on inspection procedures and standards.

SECTION I: Job Summary

The QA/QC Supervisor oversees day-to-day quality control activities across all site disciplines, supervising QC Inspectors, coordinating inspection and test plan execution, and ensuring consistent application of quality standards and procedures.

SECTION II: Job Analysis

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of QC Inspectors across all disciplines.
  • Ensure inspections, tests, and hold points are executed per approved Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
  • Review daily QC inspection reports and ensure timely, accurate documentation.
  • Coordinate hold point notifications and inspection scheduling with client/third-party inspectors.
  • Support the QC Manager in managing the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process and corrective actions.
  • Conduct quality walkdowns and spot-check inspections across active work fronts.
  • Verify calibration and control of inspection and test equipment used by the QC team.
  • Coordinate training and technical guidance for QC Inspectors on inspection procedures and standards.
  • Liaise with construction supervision to resolve quality-related work front issues.
  • Support preparation and compilation of quality documentation for handover dossiers.
  • Report quality performance, trends, and issues to the QC Manager.
  • Support internal quality audits and readiness for client/third-party audits.
