Job summary

GEA Grade is seeking a QA/QC professional to lead quality assurance activities on construction projects across site locations. You will organize and manage QA/QC programs, review technical submittals, drawings, and records, and coordinate with the project team to ensure compliance with contract requirements.

The role demands a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, at least 5 years of QA/QC experience, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform QA/QC inspections and submittal reviews.

• Coordinate inspections and tests per contract plan and specs.
• Liaise with Project Manager and issue stop-work orders if needed.
• Provide technical support to site staff for submittals and drawings.
• Raise NCRs when deviations occur and ensure proper records.
• Maintain records of inspections and testing through project completion.
• Oversee site QA/QC issues and represent the company with third parties.

Job description

Your tasks

• Perform quality assurance control inspections and submittal reviews
• Organize implement conduct and manage QA QC programs in line with the company s quality policy
• Coordinate document control for technical submittals drawings and related documents with the project team and ensure QA QC validation is completed including issuing updating and recalling controlled documents
• Coordinate all inspections monitor required tests and record inspections and tests in accordance with the contract plan and specifications
• Coordinate with the Project Manager regarding work performance and hold authority to stop work in areas where discrepancies remain uncorrected and to release stop work orders upon satisfactory correction
• Provide technical support to the Project Manager and guidance to site staff for material submittals inspection requests shop drawings as-built drawings and O amp M manuals
• Ensure that Non-Conformance Reports NCRs are raised when activities deviate from contract specifications or company practices
• Coordinate with project staff to compile and maintain records of inspections and testing until project completion and ensure proper record retention
• Oversee all site issues related to QA QC
• Represent the company to third parties for QA QC issue resolution

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience with strong knowledge of QA/QC in construction projects
• Bachelor s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Strong knowledge of industrial refrigeration work scope with full understanding and implementation of quality standards
• Experience in interpreting mechanical and electrical tests in accordance with applicable codes
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel to different project sites, including extended periods on site
