Job summary

Afaq Q Tech General Trading in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Category Manager for Amazon Now to oversee the non-fresh category for q-commerce. You will collaborate across Amazon functions to ensure the right selection, pricing, promos, and activity mix to grow basket penetration and margins.

You will lead initiatives with Retail, Ads, and Vendors, own P&L post-launch, and drive profitability through data-driven decisions and negotiations. A strategic and analytical mindset is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and strong analytical capabilities.
• Experience with financial analysis and owning P&L.
• 5+ years in retail, operations, product/program management or consulting with negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Support Category leader to drive strategic initiatives and opportunities.
• Identify optimum selection mix with Retail/Category Leaders to drive topline and bottom-line.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve inputs like selection, profitability, pricing, and availability.
• Own post-launch P&L targets and drive profitability projects with key stakeholders.
• Define and refine selection assortment to maximize space utilization.
• Collaborate with Retail to source deals for Tier 1 & 2 events for Prime customers.
• Ensure content quality with Retail category teams to improve conversion.
• Negotiate category marketing funds for visibility during BAU/Events.
• Partner with Retail to align with Annual Retail JBP for vendors.
• Collaborate with Ads team to secure fair Brand Ads share for Amazon.
