Job summary

Amazon Now (Anow) in Saudi Arabia seeks a Category Manager to own end-to-end performance for one or more product categories. You will manage selection, availability, pricing, promotions, and activities to drive growth, basket penetration, and margins.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong data analysis and cross-team coordination. You will refine assortments, own post-launch P&L with stakeholders, monitor performance metrics, and expand in-stock availability while coordinating with Vendor

Qualifications

• Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership.
• 5+ years in retail, operations, product or program management with negotiations and delivering results.

Responsibilities

• Define and refine the selection assortment to optimize the product mix and drive top and bottom line performance.
• Own the P&L for assigned categories post-launch, driving profitability improvements with stakeholders across vendors, operations, and ads.
• Monitor daily category performance metrics including GMS, units, availability, and SWOOS with root-cause analysis.
• Maintain in-stock assortment by identifying missing ASINs and coordinating onboarding with Vendor Managers.
• Prepare category inputs for commercial events covering inventory, promotions, and readiness checklists.
• Conduct regular competitive analysis to surface gaps in selection and availability.
• Negotiate category marketing funds from vendors and partner with Ads for brand advertising.
• Build category dashboards and reports to support weekly and monthly reviews.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve inputs like selection, pricing, profitability, and availability at scale.
• Support the Category Leader in driving growth opportunities across Grocery and Non-Grocery.
