Job summary

AECOM is hiring a Project Planner - Scheduling and Controls in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role develops, integrates, and maintains schedules for complex building and capital programs, establishing robust schedule logic and delivering reliable performance information for informed decisions.

The ideal candidate has five years+ planning experience, proficiency with Primavera P6 and MS Project, and a track record of CP analysis and schedule optimization across large multidisciplinary projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management or related technical discipline.
  • Minimum five years of project planning and scheduling experience.
  • Proven ability to develop schedules from first principles.
  • Experience leading planning workshops.
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project or equivalent software.
  • Strong critical-path analysis capabilities.
  • Experience developing work breakdown structures.

Role Context

This position supports AECOM 's Buildings and Places business line within its Middle East and Africa operations. The Project Planner will collaborate with design, construction, operations, risk, cost and project-management teams to develop coordinated schedules. The role covers the complete project lifecycle, from initial planning and budget development through delivery and closeout.


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop detailed project schedules from first principles.

  • Produce Gantt charts using recognized planning software.

  • Define activities, milestones and deliverables across the project lifecycle.

  • Establish realistic durations with project managers and team leaders.

  • Build logical activity sequences and resource assumptions.

Ideal Profile
