Job summary

Client of MABconsult is seeking an experienced architectural manager to oversee the renovation and fit-out works of a mall in Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province. The ideal candidate should have over 15 years of experience, including at least 3 years with an engineering consultancy, and be familiar with Saudi building codes.

Responsibilities include ensuring works are executed according to approved drawings and managing project coordination meetings. Immediate availability is required.

• Strong experience in live, operating projects.

Responsibilities

• Overall management and supervision of mall renovation and fit‑out works
• Lead architectural coordination between client, contractors and specialist subcontractors
• Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and timelines
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals and method statements
• Monitor site progress, workmanship quality and compliance with safety regulations
• Identify risks, resolve site issues and manage variations
• Prepare progress reports and lead project coordination meetings

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent
• Minimum 15 years of total professional experience
• At least 3 years of experience with an engineering consultancy company (mandatory)
• Strong experience in live, operating projects
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent knowledge of architectural details, finishes, and coordination works
• Available to join immediately

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience on large-scale retail or mall projects in Saudi Arabia
• Familiarity with Saudi building codes, authority requirements, and supervision practices
