Client of Ethra Hr is seeking a Pre-Sales professional to support the Sales team by preparing quotations and pricing for IT products and solutions based on customer requirements. The role involves sourcing products not available through existing partners, obtaining competitive pricing, and benchmarking prices against the market before applying the required margin.

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in Pre-Sales, IT Sales Support, IT Procurement, or IT Supplies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for IT products and solutions based on Sales requirements and customer needs.
• Provide pricing for products and solutions requested by the Sales team.
• Identify suitable suppliers/vendors when a required product is not available through the company’s existing partners.
• Source products from the market and obtain the best available supplier pricing.
• Compare supplier prices with market and competitor pricing before applying the company’s required margin.
• Support the Sales team in preparing commercial offers and proposals.
• Research available products and suppliers to ensure suitable options are identified based on customer requirements.
• Coordinate with relevant suppliers and partners to obtain product information and pricing.
• Ensure pricing and quotation information is accurate and commercially competitive.
• Maintain and organize pricing and supplier information for future requirements.
• Provide the Sales team with the required information and support throughout the quotation and proposal process.
• Stay updated on relevant IT products suppliers and market pricing.
• Support the Sales team in identifying alternative products or suppliers when required.
• Contribute to the sales process through strong product pricing and supplier support.

The Pre-Sales professional will support the Sales team by preparing quotations and pricing for IT products and solutions based on customer requirements The role will be responsible for sourcing products that are not available through existing partners identifying suitable suppliers obtaining competitive pricing and bench marking prices against the market and competitors before applying the required margin The position will work closely with the Sales team to provide accurate and commercially competitive proposals and support the overall sales process Experience in IT and IT supplies is required while exposure to AI or AI Agents would be an advantage

Requirements

• Experience: 2–5 years of relevant experience in Pre-Sales, IT Sales Support, IT Procurement, or IT Supplies.
• Industry: Experience in the IT / Technology sector is required. Experience with IT Products, solutions, and technology supplies.
• Strong knowledge of Pricing and Quotation Preparation.
• Ability to identify and source products through appropriate Suppliers / Vendors.
• Ability to compare supplier pricing with market and competitor prices.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong English Communication skills.
• Good Reporting and analytical skills.
• Ability to learn new products and technology solutions quickly.
• Experience with AI or AI Agents is considered an advantage.
