Job summary

CROWN Arabia Can Company Ltd in Jeddah is seeking a procurement professional to source raw materials, components, and services for manufacturing, ensuring timely delivery and quality compliance.

You will evaluate suppliers, negotiate terms, process orders, monitor performance, and collaborate with production, quality, and inventory teams to optimize costs and inventory.

Experience in ERP systems and strong English communication are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in using purchasing software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, delivery speed, and reliability.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve optimal value and favorable agreements.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and track supplier performance, addressing any issues related to quality, delivery, or cost.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records, including supplier information, pricing, and order history.
  • Collaborate with production, quality control, and inventory departments to forecast material needs and optimize inventory levels.
  • Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, products, and industry trends.
  • Resolve disputes and discrepancies with suppliers regarding invoices, shipments, and product quality.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant purchasing regulations and company procurement policies.
  • Contribute to cost reduction initiatives and process improvements within the purchasing department.
