Job summary

acwa china seeks a Plant Manager to lead Rumah site's CCGT Power Plant in Saudi Arabia, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations. You will drive plant strategy, budgets, and performance reporting to senior management and the Board.

You will oversee O&M, production planning, plant availability, and reliability initiatives, while managing workforce planning, supplier relationships, and governance across SAP, IMS, and HSE frameworks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in managing a production plant.
• Extensive operational and management experience in power generation and/or water desalination plants.
• Experience in CCGT power plants and utility-scale power generation operations and maintenance is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement plant strategy aligned with O&M goals.
• Lead operations and maintenance to achieve production targets.
• Oversee budget, cost control, and financial performance.
• Lead workforce planning and people management, including development and succession.
• Provide technical and operational direction on plant performance and reliability initiatives.
• Oversee supply chain and contractor activities in line with HSSE requirements.
• Ensure SAP, IMS, HSE compliance across the plant.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Project Company, Board, shareholders, OEMs, contractors and authorities.
