ACWA China invites an experienced Operations Manager to lead and manage the CCGT power plant in Rumah, Saudi Arabia, ensuring safe, reliable and efficient operation in line with procedures, contracts, and production targets.

You will oversee planning, workforce allocation, budgeting, and performance reporting, while ensuring IMS, HSE, waste management and environmental requirements are met and improvements are driven.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• Postgraduate qualifications in Engineering with a specialization in Power Plant Engineering is preferred.
• Minimum 13–16 years of relevant experience in power generation, desalination, or RO plants.
• Experience in CCGT or similar power generation plants is highly preferred, ideally in the Middle East.

Responsabilités

• Lead and supervise plant operations, including normal operation, plant start-up, shutdown, planned outages, and emergency operating activities.
• Ensure efficient plant operation and achievement of production schedules and established standards.
• Participate in technical decisions related to plant design criteria, specifications, methods and improvements.
• Manage resources, workforce allocation, competency development, performance evaluation, training, and on-the-job development.
• Prepare and monitor the plant operating budget and conduct regular operational meetings.
• Ensure IMS, HSE, environmental, legal, PTW, waste management, PPE, hazard risk assessment compliance.
• Lead investigation of incidents, non-conformances, root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor contractors, support emergency drills, report IMS and performance to management, drive continuous improvement.
