Job summary

ACWA is seeking a Plant Manager to provide decisive leadership for the Rumah-based CCGT Power Plant. You will drive safe, reliable, and efficient operations and maintenance, optimise resources, and meet production and performance targets.

You will own the plant strategy, oversee budget, workforce planning, and supplier performance, and ensure SAP, IMS and HSE governance across the site while building strong relationships with stakeholders and board-level reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience managing a production plant.
• Extensive operational and management experience in power generation and/or water desalination plants.
• Experience in CCGT power plants and utility-scale power generation operations and maintenance is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the plant strategy and operational plans, monitor performance, and report to senior management and Board.
• Lead O&M, production planning, plant availability, efficiency, and issue resolution to meet targets.
• Manage the plant operating budget, costs, productivity, and contractual obligations.
• Lead workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, and succession planning.
• Provide technical direction on performance, investigations, and reliability initiatives.
• Oversee supply chain and contractor activities, inventory, orders, and HSSE compliance.
• Ensure SAP, IMS, and HSE governance across the plant.
• Build relationships with the Project Company, Board, shareholders, OEMs, and stakeholders to drive improvement.
