Job summary

acwa china seeks a Plant General Manager for a Solar PV project in Alkhafa, Saudi Arabia. You will provide leadership to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations and maintenance, optimize resource use, and deliver production targets and revenue.

You will develop and implement plant strategy, lead operations and maintenance, manage the budget, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with SAP processes, IMS, HSE, and contractual obligations for strong plant availability

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
15+ years of experience in managing a production plant.
Experience in power generation, renewables, or water desalination is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership to the plant and align plans with O&M strategy.
Oversee plant Operations, maintenance, production planning and performance.
Manage operating budget, cost control, productivity and financial obligations.
Lead workforce planning, talent development and people management.
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and maintain stakeholder relations.
Oversee investigations, risk areas, changes, procurement, and inventory.
Ensure SAP, IMS, HSE compliance and audit readiness.
Drive continuous improvement and timely performance reporting.
