Job summary

ENGIE AMEA seeks an experienced Planning Engineer for the BESS project in KSA. You will manage scheduling, progress tracking, and risk management across the full lifecycle from design to commissioning.

You will coordinate with BOP/OEM contractors, internal teams, and field staff to deliver milestones on time while ensuring safety and quality. This role reports to the Site Manager and is based at the project site in KHUSAIBAH.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in project planning and scheduling, GCC experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Experience in BESS or utility-scale energy projects.
• Ability to coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage the project planning control system and progress measurement.
• Prepare, analyse, and evaluate project schedules with BOP contractor and BESS OEM.
• Monitor deviations from baseline schedule and perform slippage analysis.
• Develop shadow implementation schedule for Owner verification.
• Raise alerts for variances, critical path impacts, or risks.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align milestones and reporting formats.
• Support recovery plans and corrective actions.
• Interface with BOP/OEM and contractors for inputs.
• Ensure alignment with safety milestones and permits.
• Document schedule records and support delay analyses.
