Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking an experienced Construction Manager - Electrical for BESS projects in Saudi Arabia. The role supports the Construction Manager to execute all electrical construction activities, ensuring safety, quality and schedule adherence across MV/LV systems, transformers, PCS/inverters and switchgear.

Your responsibilities include coordinating with Civil, Mechanical, QA/QC, HSE, Procurement, T&C and subcontractors, supervising crews, reviewing method statements, and ensuring

Qualifications

• 12–16 years of relevant experience in electrical construction for BESS projects.
• Bachelor of Engineering (BE) required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate electrical installation activities for BESS, MV/LV systems, transformers, PCS/inverters, switchgear, cables, earthing and auxiliary systems.
• Plan and monitor daily/weekly construction activities against the approved schedule.
• Coordinate with Civil, Mechanical, Engineering, QA/QC, HSE, Procurement, T&C and subcontractor teams.
• Supervise subcontractors and monitor manpower, materials, equipment and productivity.
• Ensure installation complies with approved drawings, specifications, applicable standards and client requirements.
• Review method statements, ITPs and risk assessments for electrical works.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, NCR resolution and punch-point closure with QA/QC.
• Coordinate with vendors for equipment installation, inspection, testing and technical support.
• Support pre-commissioning, commissioning and energization activities.
• Monitor progress, identify constraints/delays and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with client/consultant for inspections, approvals and technical issues.
• Maintain progress reports, site records and as-built documentation.
• Ensure strict compliance with HSE requirements and electrical safety procedures.
