Job summary

AstraZeneca plc is seeking a Tender Manager in the Saudi Arabia market to oversee end-to-end tender submissions, ensuring regulatory compliance and maximizing contract opportunities. You will collaborate with sales, regulatory affairs, procurement, and finance to deliver competitive bids.

The role requires at least 3 years of relevant experience in pharma tenders and strong project management and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Public business experience is a must.
• Tender management experience is a must.
• Minimum of 3 years in AstraZeneca.
• Minimum of 3 years in pharmaceutical industries.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Key Account management in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Fluency in English is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret tender requirements for pharmaceutical products, ensuring full compliance with specifications and eligibility criteria.
• Develop, coordinate, and submit high-quality tender documents within deadlines.
• Maintain a comprehensive tender tracking system to monitor progress and deadlines.
• Identify and evaluate tender opportunities in local and international markets.
• Assess the feasibility and profitability of potential contracts.
• Collaborate with sales and business development teams to align tender strategies with company objectives.
• Prepare pricing schedules and certifications.
• Ensure all submissions comply with legal, regulatory, and client-specific requirements.
• Manage and update a library of pre-qualification documents and tender responses.
• Work closely with procurement, production, regulatory, and finance teams to gather required information.
• Liaise with external stakeholders such as suppliers, distributors, and regulatory bodies to obtain required certifications and endorsements.
• Identify potential risks associated with tender participation and propose mitigation strategies.
• Analyze feedback from unsuccessful bids to improve future submissions.
• Facilitate contract negotiations and handover processes once a tender is awarded.
• Monitor contract execution to ensure alignment with agreed terms and conditions.
