Role Context The Permitting Governance Specialist will support the effective operation of the Permitting Governance Framework by maintaining control over procedures, approvals, compliance requirements, records, performance indicators, and stakeholder actions. The position will help create greater visibility across permits and regulatory processes, enabling project teams and management to identify delays, unresolved issues, compliance gaps, and improvement opportunities before they affect delivery.
The position requires a Bachelor 's Degree in Engineering, Urban Planning, Architecture, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related discipline. Candidates should have approximately 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in permitting, governance, regulatory compliance, PMO, project controls, or a closely related environment. Practical experience coordinating several stakeholders across structured regulatory or approval processes is important. The successful candidate should understand how permits, licenses, approvals, conditions, actions, risks, and supporting documentation are tracked within formal governance frameworks. Strong capability in reporting, document management, workflow coordination, and governance record keeping is required. Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint is essential. Experience developing KPI reports, management dashboards, action trackers, and process documentation will be particularly valuable. PMP, CAPM, Lean Six Sigma, Business Process Management, or Power BI Fundamentals certification would provide an advantage.
