Our busy five-star hotel in Mecca is seeking a skilled Pastry Chef to join our dynamic team. You will create and execute pastries, oversee the pastry department, manage inventory, and ensure food safety standards are met.

Collaboration with the Executive Chef is essential to develop new menu items that complement the dining experience. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of pastry chef experience in a high-volume setting, a culinary arts degree preferred, and strong pastry techniques.

Qualifications

• Five years of pastry chef experience in a high-volume establishment.
• Degree in culinary arts or related field preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of pastry techniques and high-quality output.
• Strong leadership required to manage a pastry team.
• Fluency in English; experience with Indian cuisine is a plus.

We are looking for a talented individual who shares our passion for excellence and has a keen eye for detail.

As our Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing delicious and visually stunning pastries, desserts, and breads for our hotel's multiple restaurants and banquets. You will oversee the pastry department, including ordering ingredients, managing inventory, and ensuring that all food safety and hygiene standards are met. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop new menu items and ensure that the pastry offerings complement the overall dining experience.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-volume establishment. A degree in culinary arts or a related field is preferred. You must have excellent knowledge of different pastry techniques and be able to produce high-quality products consistently. Strong leadership skills are also essential as you will be responsible for managing a team of pastry cooks.

This position requires someone who is highly creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about their craft. You must have strong organizational skills and be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in English is required as well as prior experience working with Indian cuisine.
