ORAT Coordinator: Airport Readiness Lead

Job summary

Bechtel is seeking an ORAT Coordinator in Riyadh to provide management oversight for Operational Readiness and Airport Transfer from concept through handover on the King Salman International Airport program. You will coordinate with clients, design and delivery contractors, regulators and other stakeholders to develop processes, procedures and documentation for ORAT plans and readiness.

The role requires extensive aviation project experience, excellent leadership, and the ability to drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or related field.
• Minimum 20 years of relevant experience; 25 years if no degree.
• Experience of ORAT requirements and led ORAT operations on large projects.

Responsibilities

• Support ORAT strategies and plans development.
• Sequence the ORAT phase of the project and support scheduling.
• Lead development and implementation of an integrated project schedule for training transfer.
• Organize and lead a team to implement programs and oversee contractors’ performance.
• Engage with regulatory authorities to define governing programs and procedures.
• Develop a system for measuring and reporting ORAT scope status.
• Foster collaboration with contractor managers for knowledge sharing.
• Interface with client ORAT team to plan delivery with Operational Trials.
• Review readiness to safely execute major events and milestones.
• Participate in engineering/construction reviews and client negotiations.
