Job summary

Middle East Mattress Factory Co. in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia seeks an experienced Odoo Administrator to manage, optimize, and scale its ERP infrastructure. The role spans manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, and finance modules to align with business goals.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years in Odoo ERP admin/development, a Bachelor's in CS/IT, and fluent English; Arabic is a plus. Local candidates with transferable Iqama preferred.

• Minimum 5 years of dedicated Odoo ERP administration and development experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or closely related field.
• Nationality preference: Indian or Pakistani.

Responsibilities

• System Administration: manage Odoo access rights, user roles, security, and backups.
• Configuration & Customization: tailor core modules (Manufacturing/MRP, Inventory, Purchase, Sales, Accounting, HR) to workflows.
• Module Development: develop, test, and deploy custom Odoo modules using Python, XML, and JavaScript.
• Integration & API Management: maintain integrations between Odoo and external systems (e-commerce, payment gateways, attendance devices, shipping).
• Database Management: administer PostgreSQL databases, optimize queries and indexing.
• Troubleshooting & Support: act as primary tech support, diagnose bugs, reduce downtime.
• Data Migration: execute data migration from legacy systems during upgrades.
• Training & Documentation: create user manuals and conduct training sessions.

Middle East Mattress Factory Co. is seeking an experienced, highly skilled Odoo Administrator to manage, optimize, and scale our ERP infrastructure in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Job Overview

The Odoo Administrator will be responsible for the end-to-end administration, configuration, and maintenance of our Odoo ERP system. This role requires a technical professional who can align our manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, and financial modules with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• System Administration: Manage Odoo access rights, user roles, security protocols, and system backups to ensure high availability and data integrity.
• Configuration & Customization: Configure Odoo core modules (Manufacturing/MRP, Inventory, Purchase, Sales, Accounting, and HR) to fit the specific workflows of a large-scale manufacturing plant.
• Module Development: Develop, test, and deploy custom Odoo modules and applications using Python, XML, and JavaScript.
• Integration & API Management: Maintain and build integrations between Odoo and external systems, including e-commerce platforms, payment gateways, biometric attendance machines, and shipping providers.
• Database Management: Administer PostgreSQL databases, optimizing queries, managing indexing, and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Act as the primary point of contact for technical support, diagnosing bugs, and resolving system issues promptly to minimize operational downtime.
• Data Migration: Execute data migration strategies from legacy systems into Odoo during upgrades or module rollouts.
• Training & Documentation: Create comprehensive user manuals and conduct technical training sessions for department heads and end-users.

Required Technical & Soft Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, XML, JavaScript, and QWeb templates.
• Deep understanding of Odoo architecture, MVC design patterns, and Web Services (REST, XML-RPC).
• Hands-on experience with Linux server administration (Ubuntu/Debian) and hosting environments (Odoo.sh, AWS, or local servers).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a background in manufacturing workflows preferred.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal); working knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
