Middle East Mattress Factory Co in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Odoo Administrator to manage and optimize our ERP infrastructure.

You will configure modules, develop custom Odoo apps, integrate with external systems, and ensure data integrity across manufacturing, inventory, and finance.

• Minimum 5 years of dedicated experience in Odoo ERP administration and development.

• System Administration: Manage Odoo access rights, user roles, security protocols, and backups to ensure high availability.
• Configuration & Customization: Configure Odoo core modules (Manufacturing, MRP, Inventory, Purchase, Sales, Accounting, HR).
• Module Development: Develop, test, and deploy custom Odoo modules using Python, XML, and JavaScript.
• Integration & API Management: Build integrations between Odoo and external systems including e-commerce, payment gateways, and shipping providers.
• Database Management: Administer PostgreSQL databases, optimize queries, indexing, and troubleshoot performance.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Act as primary contact for technical support and resolve system issues promptly.

Job Overview

The Odoo Administrator will be responsible for the end-to-end administration configuration and maintenance of our Odoo ERP system This role requires a technical professional who can align our manufacturing supply chain inventory and financial modules with business objectives

Role Specifications

Position Odoo Administrator Company Middle East Mattress Factory Co Location Jeddah Saudi Arabia Local candidates with transferable Iqama preferred Experience Required Minimum 5 years of dedicated experience in Odoo ERP administration and development Education Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a closely related field Nationality Preference Indian or Pakistani national

Key Responsibilities

• System Administration Manage Odoo access rights user roles security protocols and system backups to ensure high availability and data integrity
• Configuration amp Customization Configure Odoo core modules Manufacturing MRP Inventory Purchase Sales Accounting and HR to fit the specific workflows of a large-scale manufacturing plant
• Module Development Develop test and deploy custom Odoo modules and applications using Python XML and JavaScript
• Integration amp API Management Maintain and build integrations between Odoo and external systems including e-commerce platforms payment gateways biometric attendance machines and shipping providers
• Database Management Administer PostgreSQL databases optimizing queries managing indexing and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks
• Troubleshooting amp Support Act as the primary point of contact for technical support diagnosing bugs and resolving system issues promptly to minimize operational downtime
• Data Migration Execute data migration strategies from legacy systems into Odoo during upgrades or module rollouts
• Training amp Documentation Create comprehensive user manuals and conduct technical training sessions for department heads and end-users
• Required Technical amp Soft Skills Strong proficiency in Python PostgreSQL XML JavaScript and QWeb templates Deep understanding of Odoo architecture MVC design patterns and Web Services REST XML-RPC Hands-on experience with Linux server administration Ubuntu Debian and hosting environments Odoo sh AWS or local servers Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a background in manufacturing workflows preferred Fluent in English written and verbal working knowledge of Arabic is a plus Private Health Insurance Training amp Development Performance Bonus

Required Technical & Soft Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, XML, JavaScript, and QWeb templates. Deep understanding of Odoo architecture, MVC design patterns, and Web Services (REST, XML-RPC). Hands-on experience with Linux server administration (Ubuntu/Debian) and hosting environments (Odoo.sh, AWS, or local servers). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a background in manufacturing workflows preferred. Fluent in English (written and verbal); working knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
