Branch of Sterling and Wilson Data Center Private seeks a Lead Mechanical Designer to drive the mechanical engineering for data center construction from concept through IFC and execution support. You will develop and review designs for HVAC systems including chilled water, CRAC/CRAH, pumps, cooling towers and ventilation, while leading heat-load calculations and equipment sizing.
You will ensure compliance with project specs and standards, coordinate with Electrical, Civil, Structural, Fire Life
Develop and review designs for HVAC chilled water systems CRAC CRAH units cooling towers pumps piping and ventilation systems
Review heat-load calculations equipment sizing HVAC layouts schematics piping layouts and design specifications
Ensure designs comply with project specifications applicable codes standards and Data Center redundancy requirements
Coordinate with Electrical Civil Structural Fire Life Safety ELV and Execution teams for multidisciplinary interfaces
Review consultant vendor drawings technical submittals equipment selections and shop drawings
Support value engineering design optimisation and resolution of technical design issues
Provide technical support to site teams during execution testing and commissioning
Lead mechanical design deliverables ensuring quality accuracy and timely completion
