Job summary

Schneider Electric - UAE is seeking a Cooling Solution Architect to design, develop, and govern cooling and thermal infrastructure for Data Centers and AI workloads. You will serve as the SME for mechanical and cooling systems and lead technical engagements from workshops to solution presentations.

Responsibilities include performing thermal load analyses, developing architecture options, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving innovation in liquid cooling and high-density

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline; 10+ years in relevant field.
• Strong knowledge of data center cooling technologies and thermal management systems.
• Experience with chilled water plants, heat rejection systems and liquid cooling architectures.
• Understanding of data center design standards and industry best practices.
• Ability to perform thermal analysis, system sizing and design validation.
• Excellent client-facing consulting and presentation skills.
• Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Knowledge of AI infrastructure cooling requirements and high-density computing environments is an advantage.

• Design and specify data center cooling systems including CRAH/CRAC, FWU, chillers and liquid cooling.
• Perform thermal load analysis, capacity planning and heat rejection assessments.
• Develop cooling architectures and recommend optimum technologies.
• Review customer specifications for compliance with standards and best practices.
• Provide technical leadership during customer engagements and design reviews.
• Collaborate with SE teams to align requirements with portfolio capabilities.
• Support bids, RFIs, and solution documentation; engage in post tender clarifications.

Job description

The Cooling Solution Architect is responsible for designing developing and governing cooling and thermal infrastructure solutions for Data Centers and AI environments. The role serves as the subject matter expert for mechanical and cooling systems ensuring solutions are technically sound energy efficient scalable compliant with industry standards and aligned with customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the design and specification of data center cooling systems including CRAH CRAC Fan Wall Units FWU chillers chilled water systems CDU and liquid cooling solutions
• Perform thermal load analysis cooling capacity planning and heat rejection assessments for traditional and high-density AI workloads
• Develop cooling architectures and recommend optimum cooling technologies based on technical operational and business requirements
• Review customer specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards project requirements and company best practices
• Understand of SE air cooling and liquid cooling portfolio
• Support response on specifications compliance part of SE proposal submission to the RFP
• Provide technical leadership during customer engagements workshops design reviews and solution presentations
• Act as the primary technical advisor for cooling infrastructure to customers consultants EPCs and internal stakeholders
• Collaborate with Power IT and Digital Energy teams to develop integrated end-to-end Data Center and AI Infrastructure solutions
• Support bid activities technical proposals RFIs compliance matrices and solution documentation
• Engage with post tender clarifications responses to the customers and consultants
• Engage with product management factories and engineering teams to align customer requirements with portfolio capabilities
• Drive innovation and adoption of emerging cooling technologies including liquid cooling and AI-focused thermal management solutions
• Provide knowledge sharing within the architecture and engineering community
