Job summary

Zahid Industries in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, seeks a skilled mechanic/technician to perform major mechanical repairs and complex diagnostics on industrial machines. You will utilize testing tools, support trainee development, and generate detailed failure reports.

Overtime and travel across the Kingdom are expected as needed. Candidates should have a vocational/HS diploma in mechanical fields, strong diagnostic knowledge, and fluency in Arabic and English.

Qualifications

• Vocational or High School Diploma in Mechanical education or equivalent.
• Knowledge in basic mechanical diagnosis and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge in tools and machinery.
• Ability to speak Arabic and English clearly, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Perform major mechanical repairs and complex diagnostics on machines and equipment.
• Utilize testing tools and equipment carefully and effectively.
• Coach and share skills with trainees under supervision or be willing to be trained in coaching in the workplace.
• Prepare failure reports detailing defects, damage, misuse, or lack of maintenance on inspected equipment.
• Work overtime when required and be willing to travel to locations anywhere in the Kingdom.

Job description

• Carrying out complex diagnostic, PM and Major repairs for Machines or Equipment in the Workshop and in the Field.

Key Accountabilities

• Perform Major Mechanical Repair and complex diagnostic in Machines and Equipment.
• Good and careful utilization of testing tools and equipment.
• Be willing and capable of passing on his skills to Trainees under his supervision, in line with his Departments Traineeship program, or be receptive of being trained in coaching and assessing in the workplace.
• Perform Failure report on all defects, damage, misuse, abuse or lack of maintenance on the inspected Equipment.
• Any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
• Work overtime when required. Ready to work at any location wherever required in the Kingdom.

Knowledge, Skills and Aptitude

• Educational Qualifications and Certifications: Vocational or High School Diploma in Mechanical education, or Equivalent.
• Knowledge: Knowledge in Basic Mechanical diagnosis and troubleshooting.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge in Tools and Machinery.
• Language Skills: Ability to speak Arabic and English language spoken and written clearly and understand and listen attentively.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 5 years after the successful completion of Apprenticeship in general repairs in an Automotive and Construction Machines industry.
