Job summary

Zahid Industries is seeking a maintenance technician to perform preventive maintenance, basic diagnostics and repairs on machinery in the workshop and on site across the Kingdom. You will inspect equipment, document findings, and prepare reports for supervisors while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires 1–3 years of post-apprenticeship experience in automotive or construction machinery, and fluency in Arabic and English.

Qualifications

• Vocational or High School Diploma in Mechanical education, or Equivalent.
• Knowledge in Basic Mechanical diagnosis and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge in Tools and Machinery.
• Ability to speak Arabic and English language spoken and written clearly and understand and listen attentively.
• Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years after the successful completion of Apprenticeship in general repairs in an Automotive and Construction Machines industry.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PM, basic troubleshooting and repairs for machines or equipment in the workshop and in the field.
• Inspect machines or equipment for general condition.
• Carry out TA1 inspections and prepare reports for supervisor review.
• Complete required paperwork, time sheets and service reports.
• Note and report defects, damage, misuse or lack of maintenance on inspected equipment.
• Be willing to work overtime and at various locations within the Kingdom.
• Maintain good housekeeping for tools and workshop areas.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Job description

Key Accountabilities

• Inspection of Machines or Equipment for general condition.
• Carry out PM Service and repair to highest possible quality standards.
• Where required, to carry out TA1 inspections and prepare Reports for review by the Supervisor.
• Complete required paperwork, Time sheets, Service Reports etc.
• Note and report all defects, damage, misuse, abuse or lack of maintenance on the inspected Equipment.
• Work overtime when required. Ready to work at any location wherever required in the Kingdom.
• Good housekeeping for tools, other workshop equipment, and the work bays in general.
• Any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
