Job summary

Takamol Mobility Services is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician for Salamah Vehicle Inspection centers. You will keep inspection equipment and systems operational, lead preventive and corrective maintenance activities, and supervise day-to-day technical work to ensure high quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include diagnosing faults, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining logs and calibration records to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on vehicle inspection equipment, machinery, and testing systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and electro-mechanical faults and carry out the appropriate corrective action.
• Supervise the maintenance team, allocate daily tasks, and monitor quality of execution.
• Prepare and implement periodic maintenance schedules and ensure adherence to manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, spare-parts records, and equipment history reports.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for specialized repairs and calibration.
• Monitor equipment calibration and ensure compliance with regulatory and technical standards.
• Enforce occupational health and safety procedures within the workshop and inspection lanes.
• Recommend spare-parts requirements and support inventory planning to minimize downtime.
• Report equipment performance, recurring failures, and improvement opportunities to the Operations Manager.
