International Maritime Industries seeks a Material Coordinator to oversee the flow of materials across departments, aligning with the production schedule. Responsibilities include issuing MR/PR in IFS, coordinating with the Warehouse/Logistics team, and ensuring correct materials and PPE are available for production.
The role requires a technical diploma and 6+ years in oil & gas construction or related fields, with familiarity in ERP/IFS systems and strong English communication.
JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE
Coordinate&expeditetheflowofmaterialwithinorbetweendepartmentsaccordingtoproductionschedule, keeping frequent communication with all stakeholders. Duties include reviewing, issuing MR, PR in IFS and
distributing to production the materials needed and requested by the team, takingness correct materials (grade/thickness/quantity) being issued based on the MTO of the scope of work.
Demonstrate knowledge (after some training of the IFS system) of the MR procedures.
Demonstrate knowledge, understanding and endorsement of IMI integrated management system procedures and requirements related to his activity, full compliance with HSE regulations including but not limited to
own use of PPE.
Track materials shipment frequently and ensure availability of needed items in the warehouse; close and routine communication with the Warehouse/Logistics team.
Coordinate with department to ensure efficient movement & material handling of all materials ensuring correct materials are being delivered to the production department/unit.
Coordinatewithalldepartmentmanagerstoensureaccountabilitiesforallmaterials. Maintain all sensitive data information (materials. /Consumables…etc..) while working closely with the Construction Quality Coordinator.
Maintainable in formation required forth status of material Ona weekly basis.
Collaborate with various departments to manage efficient flow of all materials.
Collaborate with cost control& engineering department for the project, ensuring BoQ is maintained; quantities of bulk materials are used correctly as per Engineering official MTO to the drawing/scope.
Perform all required MR, PR or any other documents related to materials, consumables and PPE requested in the discipline division he is part of.
Adapt to any change of IFS settings related to his daily activities without generating disturbance of production material and consumables flow.
Ensure compliance with all applicable information security policies & procedures.
Minimum of 6years’ experience in Oil & Gas Construction Industry.
Communicate (written & oral) in the English language with confidence. Arabic and Hindi are a plus.
