Qualifications

  • Proficiency in CMMS/ERP systems for planning, scheduling, and inventory/material management.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance work processes, spare parts management, and procurement coordination.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, equipment manuals, and material specifications.
  • Clear understanding of job role, responsibilities, and reporting requirements.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and cross-functional coordination skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, review, and update maintenance plans, work schedules, and job packages for routine, preventive, and shutdown work.
  • Coordinate with maintenance, operations, and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of required materials and spare parts.
  • Control and track material inventory, stock levels, reorder points, and material requisitions for maintenance jobs.
  • Prepare work orders, BOMs, and job estimates using CMMS/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Maximo).
  • Monitor maintenance backlog and provide reports on planning efficiency, material status, and schedule compliance.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to expedite critical materials and resolve material shortages.
  • Support shutdown/turnaround planning by ensuring materials, tools, and resources are pre-staged and available.
  • Maintain accurate records of material transactions, consumption, and maintenance history.

Role Overview

The Maintenance Planner / Material Controller will plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities while managing material availability, ensuring maintenance work is executed efficiently and without material-related delays.

Key Responsibilities
