Job summary

Ektis is seeking a marketing professional to support a small marketing function. You will translate insights from consultants and partners into content, events, and campaigns reaching clients and prospects in target markets in the GCC. The role involves coordinating client events, managing social media, and supporting internal communications.

The candidate should have 1–3 years in marketing, strong written English, Canva/Adobe CC skills, and a willingness to travel to events.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in a marketing role, in-house or agency (internships and placement years count).
• Demonstrable experience running social media for an organisation, not only personally.
• Some exposure to events, whether organising, staffing or supporting them.
• Strong written English and a good eye for detail. Arabic is a plus.
• Confident with Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud for straightforward design work.
• Organised enough to hold several deadlines at once and flag early when something is at risk.
• Professional and credible with senior colleagues and clients, and discreet with confidential information.
• Willing to travel to events occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the firm's event programme end to end, including client roundtables and conferences.
• Handle logistics across venues, suppliers, catering, AV and travel.
• Manage invitation lists and run registrations and follow-ups.
• Create event collateral, delegate packs and branded materials.
• Write and schedule social posts on LinkedIn and across channels.
• Maintain CRM data and support proposal materials and post-campaign reviews.
