Job summary

ARASCO is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to ensure reliability and continuous operation of plant equipment, utilities, and project machinery by following maintenance schedules and procedures.

You will plan and execute preventive maintenance with cross-functional teams, inspect motors, gears, and conveyors daily, troubleshoot faults, carry out repairs, and maintain logs and safety standards in a manufacturing environment with exposure to dust and heavy machinery.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-diagnosis skills.
• Knowledge of industrial machinery, motors, gears and conveyors.
• Working knowledge of Arabic and English.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance for plant equipment, utilities, workshop tools, and project machinery following maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance with Production and Maintenance teams.
• Inspect motors, gears, conveyors and major machines daily to detect issues early and keep production smooth.
• Troubleshoot mechanical problems and carry out necessary repairs to restore equipment quickly and reduce production loss.
• Coordinate with production, electrical, and instrumentation technicians to align maintenance work with production targets.
• Maintain log sheets, job cards, and daily reports; monitor calibration needs to ensure accurate records and compliance.
• Ensure safe equipment operation, report defects, plan emergency spares, and promote workplace safety and cleanliness.

To ensure the reliability safety and continuous operation of mechanical machinery and equipment in the manufacturing plant through effective inspection maintenance and troubleshooting activities that support uninterrupted production and operational efficiency. Perform mechanical maintenance for plant equipment utilities workshop tools and project machinery by following maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure reliable operations and minimize downtime. Plan and execute preventive maintenance with Production and Maintenance teams based on engineering plans to prevent failures and extend equipment life. Inspect motors gears conveyors and major machines daily by checking condition and performance to detect issues early and maintain smooth production. Troubleshoot mechanical problems and carry out necessary repairs using technical tools and methods to restore equipment quickly and reduce production loss. Coordinate with production electrical and instrumentation technicians to align maintenance work to achieve production targets with required quality. Maintain log sheets job cards and daily reports while monitoring calibration needs to ensure accurate records and compliance. Ensure safe equipment operation report defects or misuse plan emergency spares support team allocation and maintain workplace cleanliness to promote safety readiness and efficiency. The jobholder works primarily within a manufacturing plant environment and is exposed to industrial conditions such as dust noise and heavy equipment operations while performing mechanical maintenance activities. Internal Plant Operations Team / Production Department / Electrical amp Instrumentation Maintenance Teams / Engineering amp Maintenance Department. External maintenance contractors and service vendors / Spare parts suppliers through Maintenance Manager.

Experience
